As I’ve said before, when I work out, I sweat a lot. I am drenched at the end of no matter what I am doing – whether it be spin class, running, or strength training. I don’t mind really because I am used to it by now and know to wear moisture wicking fabrics at all times!
My issue however, is, that no matter how long I give myself to cool down, by the time I leave the gym, I am sweating again and it is to the point where I am putting my coat on over my tank top and commuting that way – not putting on my shirt for work until I get there because I don’t want to ruin it.
It’s not even just my underarms (actually that area isn’t a big problem) – I can feel the sweat running down the back of my neck, my back, under my chest, my face etc.
I prefer my hair down but I’ve been putting it up more to get it off my neck. I am not even wearing makeup much anymore because I am wiping my face so much. I just feel so gross when I finally make it to the train and sit down. It doesn’t help that Grand Central is like a sauna for the 7 or so minutes I am walking through there.
I’ve tried cooling down longer, drying my hair less, getting dressed before drying my hair (usually do it after) and it’s not making much of a difference.
I don’t know what to do. Any ideas?

you are not alone on that one. I have that and know of many others who do too.
1. cold shower. The hotter the shower, the more I sweat after
2. hair clip. I keep one of those hair claws with me so that I can do my hair, then sweep it up off my neck until I get to teh office without causing those horrible ponytail “bumps” on the back of my head
Those are the two best things that I’ve done… doesn’t stop it, but helps.

Ooo thanks for the hair claw tip – I hate the ponytail bump! Even if it is just 5 minutes while I finish getting ready I get one! I’ll have to invest in a couple clips!

yeah, I work out Wednesday’s over lunch…el sucko! I usually come back to the office, crank the air down, and cool off for at least 15 minutes before I put on deoderant again and then get back into my office clothes. I don’t get as sweaty when working out if I can lift or workout in front of a fan, and wipe constantly.
